Have you ever been at a loose end, trying to find where to go for yoga, massage or health & wellbeing in Swindon? Are you a teacher or practitioner looking for a shared space and community?
It can be really confusing to figure out what the best solution is for you and where to find it but the Swindon Yoga and Massage Centre, set up by three enthusiastic yoga teachers (Frances Lewis, Gayle Fletcher and Bindu Massey), is looking to help all members of the community find everything they need in one location.
More and more people are turning to yoga and holistic therapies to help with the stresses of modern life.
The centre offers a range of holistic therapies for the mind and body. Whether searching for peace, looking to tone & strengthen the body, recovering from illness or coping with pregnancy, we welcome everyone to come and take part in one of the yoga classes or enjoy healing massage therapy. Programmes will be available for all abilities; from beginners to experienced students, tutors and therapists.
The SYMC has a large, fully equipped yoga room, two therapy rooms and a shared kitchen. There is also a welcome area including a library where people can relax with a cup of tea before or after their session. For yoga tutors and holistic therapists all the essential equipment is available at the centre, making it very welcoming and easy for you to work.
The building is shared with the MS Therapy Centre at Westmead in West Swindon, and there is space on the first floor for one more business, project or artist’s studio to compliment both the other spaces. Together with Jon Bowels of Perpetual Legacy, who is the owner of the building, the team is enthusiastic about benefitting the health and harmony of the community.
